What do you do when you realize you forgot your phone at home? Do you panic and run back to get it? How often do you use the internet to look for train times, directions or news and information? Or to distract yourself from a difficult task? Without realizing it, most of us have completely integrated technologies into our daily lives. This is also the case in journalism – both journalists and their audiences use technologies to produce and consume news, and to communicate with each other. In the third episode of Do we click?, Mijke refines our understanding of the journalist-audience relationship by explaining the role of technology, and shares some interview observations.
